Senator AJ Wilhemi’s visibility in schools is one reason why the Will County Regional Office of Education honored him with the Friend of Education Award, according to Dr. Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant, Will County Regional Superintendent of Schools.

“As the regional superintendent, I have found that he is always accessible to answer my questions as well as address my concerns,” Bertino-Tarrant said.

The award was presented by Bertino-Tarrant, along with Will County Regional Assistant Shawn Walsh.
